Wood carver tools sometimes need to be small. And this is definitely one of those small wood carver tools. It really gets in the small spots. The handle is smaller than our other knives - less than an inch at its widest point. This gives you the option of a pencil grip for great control. We call it a string beaner because it is long and skinny like a string bean. Throughout production testing we would always say "give me the string beaner", the name just stuck. Available in a figured or standard hardwood handle. Also, for those that want to customize their own handle, just the knife blank. This knife comes to you sharp and ready to use.
